Tangential Honey Extractor
Beekeeping is a unique passion. This activity combines pleasure with utility better than almost any other in the world. Watching these insects at work, listening to the sound of their wings, and savouring the scents from the hive and the aroma of products made by bees soothes the senses, calms the mind, restores life balance, and gives strength to face new challenges. Caring for bees also allows you to enjoy the fruits of their labour, the most important of which is honey. Even a small, hobbyist apiary can produce enough honey for the beekeeper, their family, and friends to enjoy healthy, authentic honey. However, to extract it from the combs, a honey extractor is needed. The Techtron tangential honey extractor is the ideal solution for owners of small apiaries who value high quality and functionality at an affordable price.
Tangential Honey Extractor – Who Is It For?
The Techtron tangential honey extractor is the best choice for beekeepers who value high-quality equipment and full functionality but don’t want to spend thousands. Anyone starting their journey with beekeeping or who has treated it for years as an escape from everyday life deserves a hassle-free experience during spring and summer honey harvests that bring full satisfaction. Techtron honey extractors combine simple, sturdy designs and materials that can withstand years and decades of use. A tangential extractor will be a faithful companion to a beekeeper who loves their bees and is uncompromising in maintaining hygiene with this precious gift from their winged friends.
Techtron Honey Extractors
The Techtron brand offers tangential honey extractors compatible with all frame types used in United Kingdom. They can hold 3, 4, 6 or even 12 honeycombs simultaneously. After removing the wax cappings from the cells, the frames are placed in the extractor basket, and then gently spun to partially release honey from one side. The frames are then flipped to extract all the honey from the other side. The final stage involves retrieving any remaining honey from the cells emptied on the first spin. Both the casing and the drum of the extractor are made of stainless steel. The drain valve in the economy version may be made from food-grade certified plastic, while the professional line features stainless steel valves in each honey extractor.
Drums with diameters of 400mm to 800 mm are made from stainless steel sheets with a thickness of 0.5 mm. The legs are powder-coated, and the devices can be powered manually or with an environmentally friendly electric motor that consumes just 200W. All Techtron tangential honey extractors come with a two-year warranty. However, the way they are designed and constructed ensures they will operate reliably for many seasons without causing their owners any issues, and the cost of purchasing them is often up to half the price of similar products from leading manufacturers on the market.
